Facing imminent arrest or criminal charges for Medicaid fraud, this fast-talking fraudfeasor suffered ignominious defeat on February 28, 2018, during Primary Election Day.
Even with another ringer in the race, BM was unable to force St. Augustine's beloved Mayor Nancy Shaver into a runoff.

The St. Augustine Record's coverage of the campaign was almost nonexistent.
