On orders of the University of Florida, work crews cut the General William C. Loring monument cenotaph into pieces, put it on a flatbed truck and removed it to Orangedale this morning. Last week, tonight's (August 24, 2020) virtual City Commission meeting was inexplicably cancelled, on short notice. Wonder why?).
